Please read these Terms carefully before using Cyduck. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Cyduck.
Cyduck is a personal cybersecurity app built for ordinary people. We do not accept the idea that you need to be a security professional to use security software.
What We Do
If you have accounts online, their details may already be sitting in a breach somewhere — and you probably do not know it. Cyduck makes that visible:
- Breach checks — we regularly look at whether your email addresses, phone numbers and social accounts appear in known data breaches.
- Personal Cyber Score — we reduce your account security to a single number from 0 to 100, and spell out what is costing you points and how to win them back.
- Free tools — password generator, strength checker, passphrase generator and AI spam analysis. No account, nothing stored.
Why
Security advice is plentiful; actionable security advice is not. People are told to "use strong passwords" while nobody shows them which of their accounts is actually at risk. Most people act only after the damage is done.
Our claim is simple: nobody fixes what they cannot measure. Show it first, say what to do in one sentence, then make progress measurable.
How We Work
- The free tools run in your browser. A password you generate never reaches us — not sent to our servers, not stored.
- We never ask for your actual passwords. In the dashboard you only declare things like "my password is over a year old". Never the password itself.
- We do not sell your data. No advertising profiles. Our revenue comes from subscriptions only — what we sell is written in the Distance Sales Agreement.
- Breach data comes from public sources, chiefly Have I Been Pwned. Which third parties see which data is listed one by one in the Privacy Policy.
What We Do Not Promise
Security products love to oversell. We do not. What Cyduck cannot do:
- It does not prevent your accounts from being taken over. It shows you what happened and what to do; you fit the lock.
- It cannot erase leaked data from the internet. Nobody can.
- It cannot see an incident that is not in public breach records. Your score does not mean "you were not hacked"; it means "you do not appear in the sources we know about".
The score is an assessment, not a guarantee — and we say so inside the product too.
